We are currently seeking a **Planning and Control Engineer** for a major mining project located in Region IV. **Objective:** To plan, supervise, and control project execution, ensuring compliance with established deadlines, costs, and scope, by applying project management methodologies and tools that enable efficient execution aligned with the organization’s strategic objectives. **Responsibilities:** * Develop detailed work plans, schedules, and Gantt charts in collaboration with the project team. * Define key milestones and activity sequences, establishing dependencies and priorities. * Monitor project progress across all phases, comparing actual progress against planned schedules. * Generate periodic reports on project status, highlighting deviations in time, cost, or resources. * Monitor the use of allocated resources and verify alignment with established budgets. * Propose adjustments in resource allocation to optimize project efficiency. * Identify technical, financial, and operational risks that may impact the project. * Implement mitigation strategies and contingency plans to minimize the impact of identified risks. * Evaluate change requests regarding scope, cost, or timelines, ensuring formal approval and communication to the team. * Document and update the project plan based on authorized changes. * Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to time, cost, and quality. * Apply recognized project control methodologies to ensure alignment with international standards. * Act as a liaison between project stakeholders, ensuring effective information flow. * Facilitate progress meetings and make decisions based on data and critical analysis. * Ensure project control processes comply with industry standards, ISO regulations, integrated management systems, and internal company policies. **Requirements:** * Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Civil Constructor * 5 years of experience in mining projects * Advanced level in MS Project, advanced level in Primavera P6, advanced level in Office, intermediate level in PowerBI, and basic English proficiency If you are looking for an exciting challenge and possess the skills and experience we are seeking, we encourage you to apply.
