Job Summary: R&Q Engineering seeks a Coordinator Engineer to lead teams and supervise professionals in mining projects, planning activities in the short, medium, and long term. Key Highlights: 1. Key liaison between the SSO Management and operational areas. **R\&Q Engineering**, a consulting firm specialized in comprehensive management of large-scale projects with 48 years of experience, is seeking a **Coordinator Engineer** to participate in the tender process for the **Mining** area in **Salamanca, Coquimbo Region**! Estimated duration of the tendered contract: **36** months. **What are we looking for?** **Mandatory Requirements:** Degree-holding professional: Civil/Execution Mining Engineer, Civil/Execution Industrial Engineer, Civil/Execution Construction Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, or related field. * Required experience: 7 years or more. **Additional Requirements:** * Advanced proficiency in management and administration software; Sernageomin Category B certification (mandatory requirement). * Knowledge of safety variables, process variables, trend analysis, report preparation, among others. **Responsibilities and Skills:** * Will plan, together with the contractor administrator, short-, medium-, and long-term activities required by the service. Will serve as the daily liaison between MLP’s SSO Management professionals and operational area professionals whenever issues of importance cannot be resolved by the provider’s Occupational Safety and Health Engineer. * Must directly supervise professionals and technicians, lead the work teams deployed by the provider to deliver services across MLP’s various operational areas, and assign responsibilities and resources to execute the contractual scope of work.
