Job Summary: R&Q Engineering is seeking a Contract Administrator with mining experience to lead and control services, ensuring value creation and continuous improvement. Key Highlights: 1. Promote collaborative management and continuous improvement in mining projects. **R\&Q Engineering**, a consulting firm specializing in the comprehensive management of large-scale projects with 48 years of experience, is currently seeking a **Contract Administrator COD\-6941\-01** to participate in the tender process for the **Mining** area in **Salamanca, Coquimbo Region**! Estimated duration of the tendered contract: **36** months. **What are we looking for?** **Mandatory Requirements:** Degree-holding professional: Mining Civil Engineer, Industrial Civil Engineer, Mechanical Civil Engineer, or related field. * Required experience: 10 years or more, with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in Management Systems applied specifically within mining companies, particularly in Occupational Safety and Health (SSO) areas. **Additional Requirements:** * Lead and control planning, coordination, supervision, and execution activities for the service, fostering commitment to value creation, collaborative management, and continuous improvement in interactions with all involved parties. **Responsibilities and Competencies:** Represent the contracting company in all matters related to the Service Contract with the Mining Company. * Directly responsible for contract work and must be available for interaction with MLP throughout working hours and outside them when required, especially during contingencies and/or emergencies. * Will coordinate, administer, direct, and control the Contractor’s efforts to carry out all activities related to service delivery. * Will officially receive, on behalf of the Contractor, all communications issued by MLP’s Contract Administrator in connection with the contract. * Will be responsible for results related to service performance (execution, quality, risk control, etc.) and project schedules (Gantt chart, planning, etc.), ensuring timely and proper delivery while preventing accidents and achieving required quality standards. To this end, the company must grant the necessary authority, resources, and tools. * Submit and deliver periodic contract management reports to MLP’s Contract Administrator. * Submit contract payment statements accurately and on time, in accordance with MLP’s established guidelines. * Proactively plan solutions for announced or unforeseen non-conformities arising during project execution related to ongoing service activities, and coordinate with MLP’s Contract Administrator for their formal resolution and/or final closure. * Actively advise MLP regarding contractual requirements or any other requests submitted to the Contractor. * Conduct RECSS evaluation according to contract category jointly with MLP’s Contract Administrator. * All actions must prioritize worker safety and health. * Propose service improvements and optimizations to enhance operational effectiveness. To this end, the company must grant the necessary authority, resources, and tools. * Submit and deliver periodic contract management reports to MLP’s Contract Administrator.
