We are seeking a **Mechanic** to join a leading heavy machinery rental company serving the mining, construction, and forestry industries, located in **Antofagasta, La Chimba district**. **Job Objective:** Assemble and disassemble centrifugal pumps (horizontal, vertical, and multistage), with availability for on-site support and performance of hydrostatic tests, assisting with hydraulic testing. **Responsibilities:** * + Comply with and uphold the ITT Code of Ethics, ensuring its dissemination and adherence. + Ensure compliance with all ITT policies, procedures, standards, and principles. + Conduct inspections and checks on received equipment. + Complete and maintain Check List records. + Disassemble and assemble equipment according to company procedures and quality standards. * + Perform hydrostatic and bench testing. + Conduct photographic documentation during disassembly and assembly stages. + Perform metrological control. + Maintain appropriate records of measurements taken during equipment disassembly and assembly. + Package equipment (pump-motor alignment, drilling, and thread fabrication). + Carry out repairs of parts, components, and pumps. + Perform painting and cleaning of components. + Operate overhead cranes and forklifts within facility premises. + Keep workplace organized and clean. + Provide on-site support as required. + Protect company infrastructure, machinery, and equipment. **Job Requirements and Qualifications:** * Qualified mid-level technician, preferably with mechanical training. * Knowledge of centrifugal pumps; familiarity with metrology; proficiency in laser alignment of motor-pump units. * Driver’s license: Class D. **Employment Conditions:** * Working hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00–17:00, including a 30-minute lunch break. * Location: Acantitita, La Chimba, Antofagasta. * Net monthly salary: CLP 850,000. * Contract type: Replacement contract for medical leave. * No shuttle bus service provided; no meal allowance.
