The bartender will possess basic skills but will constantly seek out new market trends and understand how guest needs evolve. This role is not just about someone passionate about the world of beverages, but rather the host of the bar. The bartender steps beyond the bar itself, taking personal responsibility for the guest's direct experience. They will use their knowledge and effort to achieve perfection in the bar's appearance and functionality. They will build relationships both within the hotel and the local community. The bartender must demonstrate passion for every guest's experience, paying attention to details—such as money handled, information provided to guests, and pride in the quality of their beverages. In any position, there are fundamental requirements for success; for example, creating a safe work environment, following company policies and procedures, respecting confidentiality, protecting company assets, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring professional appearance, grooming, and communication at all times. Guest Service Specialists are always on the move; they stand, sit, walk extensively, and engage in various tasks (move, lift, carry, push, and place objects weighing 25 pounds or less without assistance; reach upward, kneel, twist, stretch, and bend). It is essential that Guest Service Specialists perform their best work (and other reasonable tasks assigned) to ensure guest satisfaction and the success of our business.
