Handle wake-up call requests, call screening and other telephone-related requests. Inform guests of received messages (e.g., voicemail, mail, fax) during their absence and forward them as needed. Record and respond to all calls, questions or guest requests and resolve their issues. Receive, record and relay messages accurately, completely and legibly. Input all guest requests or problems using computer systems, contact appropriate staff or department (e.g., bell staff, housekeeping) and follow up on requests or issues to ensure full guest satisfaction. Inform guests about room features, hotel services and provide suggestions on places to visit. Assist guests wishing to use the internet. Report accidents, injuries and unsafe working conditions to a supervisor. Follow and comply with all brand policies and procedures; ensure clean and complete uniform is worn; maintain a professional and neat appearance at all times in the workplace; respect confidentiality when sharing brand and/or hotel information and protect all company assets. Welcome and greet guests according to brand standards, anticipate their needs and respond accordingly, assist disabled persons and warmly thank guests. Use clear and courteous language in all communications; answer the phone using appropriate language. Develop positive and constructive professional relationships with peers; work together and support each other to achieve common goals. Comply with quality requirements and standards. Read and visually verify information in various formats; be accustomed to standing, sitting and moving for extended periods or throughout the shift. Move, lift, carry, pull and place loads weighing up to 4.5 kilograms independently. Perform all other tasks requested by supervisors that are consistent with the position.
