At Bechtel, our teams extract these vital resources to support net-zero emissions in a more sustainable way than ever before. **Position Summary:** ----------------------- In this role, you will provide non-routine engineering/planning and cost scheduling support to projects. You will establish stakeholder relationships, perform schedule analysis and integration, identify constraints, quantify risks, monitor costs and performance, recommend alternatives, and deliver training sessions and workshops. Your activities will synthesize project components into flawless execution. **Key Responsibilities:** ---------------------------------- * Provide and/or coordinate generally non-routine scheduling/planning/cost engineering needs for projects. * Responsible for full integration of scheduled activities. Identify scheduling considerations and issues arising from constraints and interdisciplinary or functional interfaces. * Perform project schedule analysis and studies of problem areas to determine the criticality of scheduled activities. * Recommend alternatives for schedule improvement to the project team for discussion and/or decision. * Responsible for leading, when requested, the development and review of scheduled recovery plans, including assessment of additional resources/costs required to implement such plans. * Monitor cost recording and reporting practices for compliance with applicable standards. * Responsible for development and accuracy of cost reports. Verify consistency with prior reports to ensure compatibility and coherence. * Lead risk workshops, interviews, and information gathering related to risk identification, review, and updating. * Responsible for establishing and continuously improving functional stakeholder relationships for effective PERM execution and client interface with PERM activities, including training as needed. * Deliver training sessions and facilitate workshops. **Requirements: Education and Experience:** ---------------------------------------- * Requires a bachelor’s degree (or international equivalent) and 10–13 years of relevant experience, or 14–17 years of relevant work experience. * Prior experience serving as Senior Project Controls on large-scale EPC(M) projects. * Experience working within large multidisciplinary teams during Engineering, Procurement, and Construction phases of a project. Strong commercial awareness experience. **Required Knowledge and Skills:** ------------------------------------------- * Demonstrated experience performing, monitoring, and reviewing cost engineering functions—including cost estimating, project setup, control, analysis, forecasting, and financial reporting/systems. * Demonstrated experience performing, monitoring, and reviewing planning and scheduling functions—including schedule development, control, and analysis. * Demonstrated experience in change management, including trend program management. * Demonstrated experience developing capital expenditure estimates for large-scale EPC projects. * Experience managing and maintaining a Risk Management Program. * Experience delivering fully integrated EPC(M) projects. * Excellent oral and written communication skills, including experience presenting information to internal and external stakeholders. * Advanced knowledge of Bechtel’s engineering, procurement, contracts, construction, and commissioning work processes. **Benefits:** --------------- For decades, Bechtel has worked to inspire the next generation of engineers—and beyond!
