**Infrastructure Architect – Linux Platforms and Virtualized Environments** We are seeking an Infrastructure Architect with solid experience in managing Linux platforms, virtualized environments, web services, and security, to join a team leading highly critical infrastructure projects and contributing to the country’s digital transformation. **Work modality:** 100% on-site **Availability:** Off-hours shifts and emergency response as required. **Position profile** A Senior professional is required, with demonstrable experience in infrastructure and operations of legacy platforms, playing a key role in documentation, organization, and knowledge transfer—supporting both first- and second-line support teams. **Requirements:** * Professional degree in Computer Engineering (Execution or Civil), Electronics, Connectivity and Networks, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (minimum 8 semesters). * At least 5 years of experience administering Linux, Unix, and VMware platforms. **Advanced technical expertise in:** * Linux (Red Hat / RHEL). * Application servers and web services: Apache, Tomcat, JBoss, DNS/BIND. * Reverse proxies, load balancers, SSL/TLS. * Presentation-layer architecture and capacity planning. **Experience integrating with:** * Databases: Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL. * Modern technologies: Docker and public cloud. * Unix platforms: Solaris (ideal) and AIX (desirable as a plus). * High-demand, mission-critical environments, with presentation-layer server counts approaching 1,000. **Desirable certifications (non-exclusive):** * Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA). * Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE). * Virtualization/Cloud: VCP-DCV, AWS Solutions Architect Associate, Azure Administrator Associate. * Security: CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+. **Key responsibilities:** * Administer Red Hat servers in highly critical environments. * Install, configure, and monitor services such as Apache, Tomcat, and DNS. * Automate tasks and processes using scripting. * Apply security guidelines and best practices in platform operations. * Participate in technology modernization projects and infrastructure evolution initiatives. * Provide support for critical systems and collaborate closely with other technical teams.
