Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to lead initiatives for infrastructure protection, vulnerability management, and incident response at Grupo Cintac. Key Highlights: 1. Protection of information assets, networks, and technological infrastructure. 2. Design and implementation of security architectures and controls. 3. Professional development in strategic cybersecurity projects. At Grupo Cintac, part of CAP Holding, we aim to integrate a Cybersecurity Engineer into our Information Technologies team—someone eager to grow by leading initiatives in technological infrastructure protection, vulnerability management, and incident response, thereby contributing to operational continuity and business security. We are a company operating in Chile and Peru, with industrial activities in steel, construction, manufacturing plants, and mining support services—including company-owned camps and hotels. We distinguish ourselves through our focus on safety, efficiency, and, above all, people. What will be your purpose in this role? To protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the company’s information assets, networks, and technological infrastructure by implementing security controls, managing vulnerabilities, and responding to incidents—ensuring regulatory compliance and operational continuity. Key Responsibilities: * Design and implement security architectures and controls for network and IT/OT platform infrastructure, including firewalls, VPNs, network segmentation, IDS/IPS, and system hardening. * Manage vulnerabilities through periodic scanning, risk analysis, prioritization, and tracking of remediation plans with relevant departments. * Monitor security events via SIEM/SOC platforms, leading detection, containment, investigation, and response to cybersecurity incidents. * Ensure compliance with regulations, standards, and best practices for information security, promoting continuous improvement of implemented controls. What are we looking for? Mandatory: * Professional degree in Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity Engineering, Network Engineering, or a related field. * Experience administering and implementing security controls (firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, network segmentation). * Experience in vulnerability management, risk analysis, and cybersecurity incident response. * Knowledge of security frameworks and standards such as ISO 27001 and NIST. Preferred: * Experience monitoring SIEM platforms and operating SOC environments. * Cybersecurity-related certifications (Security+, CEH, ISO 27001, CISSP, or others). * Experience in industrial environments or OT infrastructure. What do we offer? * Join a leading company within CAP Holding. * Professional development and participation in strategic cybersecurity projects. * Corporate benefits and opportunities for continuous training. * An excellent work environment focused on safety, innovation, and collaboration.
