Position Summary: This internship is designed for students interested in learning about the technical and editorial operations behind sports production, coordinating and managing television content. This internship is intended for students who wish to learn about the technical and editorial operations behind sports production. You will join the team responsible for coordinating and managing the content that appears on screen—from technical control to archival curation. Your role Accountabilities: **Playout Operations at the Switch:** * Support in executing on-air content from the switch. * Coordination of broadcast capsules, promotions, and commercial material. **Coordination of Commercial and Promotional Material:** * Management of delivery schedules and airtime with Marketing, Promotions, and Sales departments. * Oversight of material organization and system availability. **Archival Material Management:** * Organization, search, and classification of historical sports content. * Support in digitizing and documenting material for editorial use. **Qualification \& Experience** * Student pursuing a degree in Audiovisual Communication, Film, Communications, or a related field. * Interest in sports television and technical content operations. * Basic knowledge of broadcast workflows and playout systems. * Organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively. * Availability to undertake a professional internship on a part-time or full-time basis. **How We Get Things Done…** This last bit is probably the most important!
