Requirements: Knowledge of underground mining, preferably Block Caving. Understanding of unit operations in underground mining. Experience or interest in geomechanical numerical modeling. Knowledge of instrumentation and monitoring in underground mining. Ability to analyze geological, geotechnical, operational, and monitoring data. Rigor, critical thinking, and strong technical writing skills. Proficiency in modeling or data analysis software such as FLAC3D, RS2/RS3, Abaqus, Python, or others. Main responsibilities: Review, organize, and interpret underground mining technical information. Support the analysis of geomechanical and operational models. Integrate instrumentation, monitoring, and technical record data. Prepare summaries, tables, short reports, and technical presentations.
