Learn more about us Apply to this job directly at getonbrd.com. ### **Job Description** The Data and Analytics team works on different projects combining massive data volumes and AI, such as detecting and predicting failures before they occur, optimizing pricing, personalizing customer experience, optimizing fuel usage, detecting faces and objects using computer vision. Within the multidisciplinary team including Data Scientists, Translators, DevOps, and Data Architects, your role will be key in building and providing the systems and infrastructure enabling the development of these services, forming the foundation upon which impactful models are built—services that must scale, have high availability, and be fault-tolerant; in other words, they must work. Additionally, you will monitor system capacity and performance indicators. In any project you work on, we expect strong collaboration skills, passion for innovation and coding, and a mindset favoring automation over manual processes. As a Data Engineer, your responsibilities will include: * Actively participating throughout the software lifecycle, from inception, design, deployment, operation, and improvement. * Supporting development teams in design and consulting activities by developing software, frameworks, and capacity planning. * Developing and maintaining data architectures, pipelines, templates, and standards. * Connecting via API to other systems (Python) * Managing and monitoring infrastructure and application performance. * Ensuring scalability and resilience. ### **Key Qualifications** * Degree in Civil Engineering in Computing or similar. * At least 3 years of practical experience in roles such as Data Engineer, Software Engineer, or related. * Experience with Python. Understanding of data structures with analytical skills related to working with unstructured datasets, advanced SQL knowledge including query optimization. * Passion for data processing challenges. * Experience with cloud servers (GCP, AWS, or Azure), especially data processing services. * Good command of English, particularly reading, where you must be able to consistently read papers, articles, or documentation. * Communication and collaborative teamwork skills.
