Come and be a part of this success**About the role:** Ensure the effective implementation of safety standards and management systems at all stages of the project, promoting a risk prevention culture, controlling critical hazards, and contributing to achieving zero serious or fatal incidents.**Key responsibilities:** * Promote a safety culture from the early stages of the project. * Verify that all project aspects comply with current legislation, international standards, and internal safety policies. * Identify, assess, and control high-potential risks, such as those related to electrical energy, working at heights, lifting operations, etc. * Implement effective barriers to prevent serious and fatal incidents. * Coordinate with HSE (Health, Safety \& Environment) teams of contractor companies. * Provide technical support to the Project Owner Team. * Ensure contractors comply with established safety requirements. * Analyze safety performance indicators. * Promote audits, inspections, and lessons learned reviews. **About you:** * **Education:** Bachelor's degree in Risk Prevention, with Sernageomin Class B certification. * **Languages:** Fluent Spanish and intermediate English. * **Experience:** + Previous experience in roles such as Specialist Safety in Projects. + Knowledge in project management. + Experience in implementing BOS routines. + Ability to manage senior stakeholders at local and global levels. **Location** * **Site:** Spence – Pampa Norte * **Reports to:** Lead Safety Projects **About Our Process** At BHP, we are committed to employing individuals who align with the BHP Charter Values and meet the requirements of the role.
