




A technology company is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to work in Santiago. Job Objective: You will be responsible for administering, configuring, and deploying new versions throughout the entire project. You will also be in charge of automating and designing platforms to enhance performance and responsiveness through the agile delivery of high-quality services. Conditions: 1. Salary: To be agreed upon. 2. Schedule: Monday to Friday, 08:30–18:15 hrs (hybrid work model). 3. Work location: Downtown Santiago. 4. Requirements: * Professional holding a degree in Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent expertise in Information Technologies, from a program lasting at least eight semesters. * Experience administering Linux operating systems, including configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting. Additionally, experience managing web server tools such as NGINX and Apache for configuration and administration is required. * Docker usage: Experience using Docker to create, manage, and deploy containers; develop and maintain development and production environments using Docker, enabling efficient and portable application deployment. * CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery): Experience establishing CI/CD practices in software development projects, implementing continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines using popular tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Travis CI. * PostgreSQL database administration: Experience administering PostgreSQL databases, including designing, implementing, and optimizing database schemas; performing backup and recovery tasks; and monitoring and tuning database performance. * Redis administration: Experience administering and using Redis—a high-performance in-memory database—for designing and implementing solutions leveraging Redis as a cache or fast, efficient data store. * Platform tuning: Experience tuning and optimizing application and system platforms to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, adjust configurations, and optimize hardware and software resources to achieve improved performance and scalability. * Cloud platforms: Experience with AWS (Amazon Web Services), Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure in implementing, configuring, and administering cloud services.
