A leading industrial company with over 60 years of experience in the sector seeks to incorporate a **METALLURGICAL TECHNICIAN OR ENGINEER WITH EXPERIENCE IN ASTM STANDARDS** into its team for the position of **LABORATORY TECHNICIAN**. **Job Responsibilities:** Supervise and conduct laboratory tests to verify that raw materials comply with quality plan standards for the manufacturing of steel tubes and profiles. Perform tests such as tensile testing (ASTM E8), chemical analysis (ASTM E415), and hardness testing (ASTM A956), as well as other required tests. Support production line testing to optimize processes and prepare technical reports with test results. **Requirements:** Diploma or degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Chemical, or Metallurgical Technology or Engineering. Minimum two years’ experience in similar positions (preferred). Intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables). Knowledge of statistics and ASTM standards E8 and E415. Working Hours: Monday to Thursday, 07:30–16:30; Friday, 07:30–15:30.
