R\&Q Engineering, an Engineering and Projects company with over 45 years of experience, is seeking a **Quality Management Specialist A** to join an important bidding process in the Mining sector. **Estimated duration of the contract to be bid: 36 months** **The following qualifications are required:** * Civil Engineer, Execution Engineer, Technical Professional in the required specialty, or Civil Builder * At least 7 years of experience in similar roles in mining or industry in general, or 5 years in a comparable position working for VP (Vice Presidency) of Projects. * Must have completed Internal or Lead Auditor training course * ISO 9001 course * Demonstrable experience as lead auditor and/or internal auditor and/or quality inspector * Proficiency in Microsoft Office at intermediate or advanced level * Knowledge of Power BI. * Knowledge of SIC3Pro. * Desirable knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 tools * Desirable training in Data Analytics (or similar) * Desirable training in Continuous Improvement Tools. **Main Functions and Responsibilities:** * Develop and update quality manuals, policies, procedures, and checklists. * Conduct assessments of adherence to quality processes * Perform reviews of critical quality processes * Conduct site visits for evaluation and monitoring of quality processes in projects. * Perform audits on CC (Construction Contracts) during Study and Investment phases. * Train teams on quality policies, procedures, and standards. * Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to quality. * Analyze data and results to identify failures or areas for improvement. * Propose and supervise corrective and preventive actions to resolve deviations. * Apply continuous improvement tools such as PDCA cycle, Six Sigma, Lean, or others to enhance quality process performance. * Prepare periodic reports on quality performance and present findings to the quality function. * Interpret statistical results and quality metrics for strategic decision-making.
