




A leading company in the mining sector is seeking a Budget Engineer to join their team and lead full-cycle bidding processes, ensuring accurate, competitive proposals aligned with industry standards for technical specifications, economics, and safety. **Position Purpose** Manage end-to-end bidding processes: technical-economic analysis, coordination with internal departments, budget preparation, and follow-up through award stages, guaranteeing compliance with deadlines, regulations, and quality requirements to maximize commercial success rates. **Key Responsibilities** * Gather and consolidate technical, operational, and cost data from internal departments (operations, maintenance, HSEC, finance, logistics). * Prepare budgets and calculation reports with explicit assumptions, scopes, exclusions, and identified risks. * Coordinate and execute the complete bidding cycle (technical, commercial, inquiries, clarifications, attachments, and formalities). * Analyze administrative and technical terms; prepare compliance and gap matrices. * Model scenarios (sensitivities, CAPEX/OPEX, indices, exchange rates) and propose pricing strategies. * Manage deliverable schedules to ensure timely submissions. * Prepare and/or support meetings with clients, economic bid openings, and internal approval committees. * Maintain databases of costs, productivity, and suppliers; update historical bid records and lessons learned. * Handle client inquiries and route them internally. * Conduct site technical visits when necessary to verify project scope and operating conditions. * Ensure document traceability within corporate repositories/databases. **Requirements (mandatory)** * Professional degree in Mining Engineering (Construction or Civil), Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field with proven experience in budgeting/bidding. * Experience in bidding processes and budget development within mining or industrial services (ideally 2–3 years). * Strong proficiency in Excel/spreadsheet applications and cost modeling. * Ability to read and interpret administrative and technical specifications. * Strong written and oral communication skills for interaction with clients and internal teams. **Desirable** * Experience in mining services (drilling, maintenance, civil works, assembly, transportation, etc.). * Knowledge of applicable HSEC regulations and industry standards. * Experience with ERP systems and/or bid documentation management tools (e.g., SharePoint, basic Power BI). * Technical English (reading proficiency).
