Reporting to the Project Director, the Technical Lead will be responsible for overseeing the design development and integrating technical and construction disciplines. Ensuring the management of a large complex major civil and utilities project joint venture between Aecon civil and Aecon utilities is technically integrated. **What You'll Do Here:** Support relationships with public and private sector stakeholders, including clients, authorities, designers, and contractors. Support and coordinate design, construction, integration, testing, and commissioning activities to ensure project objectives are achieved. Ensure compliance with technical requirements, contracts, applicable laws, codes, and standards. Coordinate and support design development, consultant performance, change management, and technical risk mitigation Monitor and manage design progress schedules, and reporting requirements for weekly/monthly client submission Identify and resolve design and technical issues, delays, claims, and disputes. Support construction payments, stakeholder communications, and community relations initiatives. Facilitate collaboration between construction and operations teams, including contingency and operational readiness planning. Participate in key project meetings and provide technical leadership throughout project delivery. **What You Bring to the Team:** 15\+ years' experience delivering major infrastructure projects, including design\-build and P3/concession projects. Extensive experience with Tier 1 contractors managing design consultants, technical team , and interface with construction team for seamless project delivery. Strong background in civil \& utility infrastructure, including civil, bridges, drainage, systems integration, testing, and commissioning. Demonstrated experience in BIM modelling \& IDD Engineering degree required; advanced degree. Proven experience across the full project lifecycle from bid through construction, commissioning, and operations Experience with DB, EPC, and alternative delivery models. Prior P\&L accountability for large, multi\-million\-dollar projects. Aecon fosters belonging within and across our organization.
