Two years of experience in field support services for forestry work or similar activities. Advanced knowledge of basic cartography and basic silviculture. Functions and/or responsibilities: Field support in inspections and data collection, data tabulation and database creation, among others. The services to be performed will be mainly distributed in the Metropolitan and O'Higgins regions. Notwithstanding this, as already mentioned, activities may cover other territories. For the purposes of this contract, the territorial distribution of the facilities will be grouped into the following areas: * High Area (Caletones, Maitenes, Barahona and others) * Hacienda Cauquenes Area * Loncha Area (Hacienda Loncha, Tranque Relaves Carén and others) * Other Areas (Metropolitan Region (Melipilla), Valparaíso, O'Higgins and Maule) The service period is 60 months. Please adhere strictly to what is requested. **Requirements** Functions: Control of technical specifications for planting, soil recovery works and maintenance Planting: The technical inspection must verify that all plantings are carried out according to the specifications stated herein. To do so, it must develop and apply acceptance protocols. Irrigation: The inspection must approve the irrigation project proposed by the contractor for various sectors and validate its construction and commissioning. To do so, it must develop and apply acceptance protocols. Soil recovery and conservation works: The inspection must validate the contractor's proposals, support their designs, and verify the proper execution of activities such as infiltration trenches, micro-terraces, riprap or wattling for gully control, among others. Installations and equipment: The inspection must ensure the proper construction and operation of facilities such as warehouses, water storage tanks, pumping stations, among others. To do so, it must develop and apply acceptance protocols. Maintenance: The inspection will be responsible for verifying that the contractor complies with reforestation maintenance. To do so, it must develop and apply inspection protocols. Inventory of establishment: Those necessary for monitoring progress and monitoring reports. In general, the technical inspection must carry out all necessary activities to maintain adequate control and follow-up of activities, as well as generate early warnings if deviations from the contract or possible non-compliance that could cause problems for the client with the regulatory authority are detected. Control of technical specifications for external nurseries Plant inventory and dispatch control: The inspection must verify and monitor the monthly plant inventory conducted by the contractor. In addition, it must keep records of plants leaving the nursery. Quality control: The inspection must supervise the delivery of plants at the nursery, loading onto trucks, transport conditions, unloading at destination, and conditions of temporary nurseries. Consultancy The service must provide suitable personnel for providing occasional specific technical advice in areas such as applied silviculture, dendrometry, forest ecology, geomatics, statistics, and other forestry specialties. Reporting The technical inspection will be required to prepare and deliver a monthly work report reviewing compliance with assigned tasks. It will be delivered in digital and physical format, attaching copies of inspection and acceptance protocols, registration forms, and any other necessary documentation proving compliance with the monthly tasks assigned to the contractor. The technical inspection must also deliver a weekly activity report every Friday. Planning The technical inspection must deliver a work program once the service is awarded and keep it updated during implementation.
