An environmental sector company, a leader in its field, is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator for the commune of Maipú, who will effectively and safely operate various types of heavy machinery, whether for the construction, operation, or closure of final disposal sites and adjacent areas of the sanitary landfill. Your main responsibilities will be: * Perform all assigned duties in compliance with applicable laws, company policies, procedures, standards, and operational instructions associated with the position. * Inspect key machinery systems (fluid levels, fuel, safety systems, and overall machinery condition) before, during, and after each shift. * Report any anomalies observed before, during, or after operations to maintenance personnel and direct supervisors. * Provide support to the maintenance team when required. * Enter all requested data into machinery reports each time a machine is operated. * Keep the interior of the machinery (cab) clean, and perform exterior cleaning whenever workload permits, to prevent accumulation of waste. * Place, confine, and compact waste entering the worksite. * Carry out earthmoving tasks (cutting, compaction, excavation, and terrain grading) on plans and slopes. * Maintain machinery tires in good condition, keep the interior clean, and perform exterior cleaning on the wash pad whenever workload permits. * Use personal protective equipment (PPE) provided by the company, ensure its proper care, and promptly inform your immediate supervisor if replacement of issued PPE is required.
