Your **objective** will be to plan, deliver, and evaluate comprehensive, direct nursing care for patients under your supervision, while also performing administrative and outreach duties inherent to the role. **Key Responsibilities** * Perform general and specialty-specific nursing techniques and procedures according to UC CHRISTUS standards. * Supervise compliance with nursing norms and procedures based on institutional policies and guidelines, ensuring timely, high-quality patient care. * Manage the bed management system, laboratory tests, and recording of supplies and medications to ensure operational continuity. * Collaborate in and contribute to scheduling and workflow management within the service to sustain active operations. * Report and manage information regarding service operations and patients under your care, safeguarding confidential information to which you have access. * Maintain up-to-date records of service-required performance indicators to ensure appropriate area management. * Administer human and physical resources available within your service to guarantee adequate resource availability for optimal service functioning. * Delegate tasks within your area of responsibility to competent personnel to support collaborative teamwork. * Inform the Head Nurse about medical equipment maintenance to ensure uninterrupted service delivery. * Operate service equipment, materials, and supplies correctly and efficiently. * Participate in teaching and outreach activities conducted by the service. * Carry out activities aimed at healthcare-associated infection (HAIs) control within the service, collaborating continuously with the IPC-HAI Unit. **Requirements** * Hold a university degree in Nursing. * Minimum one year of relevant service experience is desirable. * Specialty training aligned with the service is desirable. **More About Us**: Since 1929, we have been Chile’s Academic Clinical Network, delivering excellence in patient care while integrating professional education, applied research and innovation, and sustained community engagement.
