Job Summary **TNS Aviasi Travel \& Business Services Chile SpA** is seeking an organized, customer-oriented, and detail-oriented ***Travel Operations Assistant*** to join our travel and business services team. As a Travel Operations Assistant, you will provide support in the daily coordination of bookings, itineraries, transportation, accommodation, communication with suppliers, customer requests, and travel documentation. You will work closely with travel operations, reservations, customer service, administration, suppliers, hotels, carriers, and other travel partners to ensure that bookings and travel arrangements are processed accurately and efficiently. This position is ideal for candidates with limited experience or those beginning their professional careers who have an interest in tourism, travel operations, reservations, hospitality, aviation services, customer service, or business operations. Responsibilities: Support daily travel and reservation operations. Process routine booking requests. Assist in organizing flights, accommodation, transportation, and travel services. Verify the accuracy and completeness of booking information. Prepare and update customer travel itineraries. Maintain accurate booking and customer information. Monitor booking confirmations and pending requests. Communicate with hotels, transportation providers, tour operators, and other suppliers. Assist customers with routine booking inquiries. Provide authorized information on schedules, bookings, and travel services. Support booking modifications and cancellations. Assist with booking change requests according to established procedures. Monitor changes affecting customers’ travel plans. Notify customers of approved schedule or booking changes. Assist with airport transfers and ground transportation as appropriate. Support the organization of group and corporate travel when required. Prepare travel vouchers, confirmations, and supporting documents. Assist with billing and payment documentation. Maintain electronic records of travel and reservations. Update CRM, reservation, or travel management systems. Monitor shared travel operations inboxes and service queues. Follow up with customers and suppliers regarding pending information. Maintain Excel spreadsheets and operational records. Assist with travel and reservation service reporting. Appropriately manage complex issues related to tickets, refunds, suppliers, or customers. Assist customers during routine pre-travel and post-booking inquiries. Assist in travel disruption cases according to established procedures. Comply with customer verification, privacy, and information security requirements. Participate in travel service and process improvement initiatives. Requirements: Completed secondary education or equivalent qualification. Technical or professional training in Tourism, Hospitality, Travel Management, Business Administration, Aviation Services, or a related field is highly desirable. Prior experience in travel, tourism, reservations, hospitality, customer service, or administration is beneficial but not mandatory. Approximately 0–1 year of relevant experience is required. Experience with Amadeus, Sabre, Travelport/Galileo, or similar systems is beneficial but not required for this junior role. Basic knowledge of tourism and travel terminology is considered a plus. Geographic knowledge is considered a plus. Proficiency in English is an advantage, especially when communicating with international suppliers or travelers. Ability to manage multiple bookings and deadlines. Excellent follow-up and problem-solving skills. Ability to remain organized amid unexpected changes to travel plans.
