Job Summary: VOLTA Chile is seeking a Sorting Operator to join its team and contribute to the efficiency and quality of the recycling process by identifying and separating materials. We are looking for a Sorting Operator to join our team and contribute to the efficiency and quality of our recycling process. Responsibilities: -Receive and process recyclable materials arriving at the plant. Identify and sort different types of recyclable materials, such as paper, cardboard, tetrapack, plastics, glass, and metals. -Use equipment and tools for material sorting and classification. -Operate sorting machinery, including conveyor belts, sorting equipment, rejection systems, etc. -Ensure cleanliness and order in the work area. -Monitor the quality of sorted materials, removing contaminants or impurities. -Report any issues or malfunctions in equipment or processes. -Collaborate with the operations team and other plant personnel. -Comply with plant safety and operational protocols. · Requirements: · Education: Secondary education. Experience: Prior experience in sorting and classifying recyclable materials, preferably in recycling plants.
