We seek professionals with a degree in Computer Science Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Computing, with at least 3 years of experience in the field, to work at our San Andres office in Concepción. Primary role of the position: Responsible for software development with both front-end and back-end skills for initiatives currently underway within the organization. Specific responsibilities: • Develop user interfaces focused on business needs. Create and maintain the visual and interactive components of various applications using technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, etc. • Design and program back-end logic (server / cloud – GCP). * Implement business logic, manage databases (structured and unstructured), and build APIs. * Integrate and ensure communication between front-end and back-end. * Ensure both components operate smoothly, securely, and efficiently, handling authentication, authorization, and performance. Mandatory Requirements: Intermediate-level proficiency in: • HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+). • Node.js, Python (Django/Flask), or Java (Spring Boot). * REST and GraphQL API development. * SQL: PostgreSQL, MySQL; or NoSQL: MongoDB, Redis. * Education: Degree in Computer Science Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Computing. * Experience: At least 3 years in similar roles. Desirable Requirements: * Experience in responsive design and UI/UX. • Frameworks: React.js, Vue.js, or Angular. • Microservices and containers (Docker, Kubernetes). * Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP (AWS preferred for monitoring large areas). * GIS (Geographic Information Systems) experience: QGIS, ArcGIS. * Knowledge of BI tools such as Power BI or Qlik Sense for visualization of production and environmental data. ***At ARAUCO, we work daily to develop renewable forest products that improve people’s lives—a mission that challenges us to build committed, enthusiastic, and creative teams.
