**Job Description** --------------------------- The assistant is responsible for performing various tasks related to food and beverages. This position requires individuals with great attention to detail, strong dedication to customer service along with a positive and friendly attitude. This role will maintain the cleanliness of equipment and meal service areas. **Position Responsibilities** -------------------------------- * Prepare a variety of meals according to production instructions and standardized recipes * Set up the workstation with all necessary ingredients and equipment * Prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, cutting, trimming, and peeling food items * Safely use a variety of utensils, including knives * Organize, garnish, and distribute food according to established guidelines * Accurately store food following food safety policies and procedures * Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils * Maintain excellent customer service and positive conduct toward guests, customers, and coworkers * Comply with Aramark's safety policies and procedures, including food safety and hygiene * Ensure company assets' security. To meet our goals, job responsibilities may change or additional ones may be added without formal notice. **Qualifications** ------------------- * Previous experience in food service preferred * Comply with all company policies and procedures regarding safety, protection, emergencies, and energy * Report to work on time and in complete uniform * Knife handling and different cooking techniques * Maintain cleaning schedules for equipment and facilities * Strong customer service ability and interpersonal skills * Must be flexible and willing to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays This position may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and/or walking and standing for extended periods.
