Because together we can change our patients’ lives, we are seeking a **Pharmacy Technician** for our Pharmacy Service at the **San Carlos de Apoquindo Clinic, on the 4th shift**. Your **objective** will be to handle and prepare medications efficiently and promptly to meet the Clinic’s needs, adhering strictly to safety and hygiene standards. **Key Responsibilities** * Dispense medications requested for patients (SAP, Kardex, restricted-use antimicrobials, narcotics, and psychotropic drugs—with reconciliation every 12 hours). Process returns (code 952) of unused medications to patients. * Perform tasks related to Pyxis restocking processes (including reviewing Pyxis medications on the last Sunday of the current month and removing all medications expiring during the following month). * Carry out procurement activities from affiliated pharmacies, subject to prior authorization by the on-duty Pharmacist (Q.F.). * Perform tasks related to preparing medication dispenses corresponding to requests (codes 201, 311, and MRP) from Clinic services. * Monitor expiration dates for the current year for medications located in assigned Pharmacy sectors (Kardex, refrigerator, cabinets), recording them in the shift logbook and notifying the Pharmacist (Q.F.) to determine withdrawal, exchange, or disposal. * Conduct selective and scheduled inventories as directed by the Pharmacist (Q.F.). * Record temperature and humidity in the dispensing area every 12 hours. * Perform duties related to responsibilities of Technical Assistants acting as armory staff and operating room technicians in the Central Intravenous Mixing Unit (Oncology, Parenteral Nutrition, and Fractionation). * Record temperature, humidity, pressure differentials, and traceability data. * Prepare materials required for each production shift and NPT addition worksheets. * Support pharmacists in aseptic preparation techniques. * Submit weekly orders for medications and supplies used in the Central Mixing Unit. Maintain inventory of re-sterilized supplies, coordinating material dispatch to and retrieval from sterilization. * Record charges for sterile preparations billed to patients and services, validating and organizing these documents. **Requirements** * Technical Degree in Pharmacy. * Preferred: 2 years’ experience in similar roles. **Main Benefits** * Your health—and your family’s—is our top priority!
