La Coipa poured its first gold bar in March 2022 after restarting operations following suspension in 2013. Kinross is conducting an exploration program to potentially extend the mine’s life. The operation is powered 100% by non-conventional renewable energy to meet its power requirements. **Job Description** -------------------------- Contribute to the efficiency of the maintenance process by supporting weekly and daily operational task scheduling, aligned with MDO and Kinross policies, standards, and procedures. **Job Responsibilities** -------------------------------- * Keep systems updated regarding work order status; prepare work packages for the weekly schedule; release and close corresponding work orders. * Monitor the registration of all work orders in the system. * Maintain up-to-date information on maintenance status for communication to internal staff and contractors. * Deliver scheduling to relevant departments and prepare performance reports. * Support procurement of materials and services through analysis and classification of documents. * Review invoices, prepare procurement background documentation, and assist planners in information processing. * Support inspection of received goods. **Education and Experience** --------------------------- * Professional degree in Civil Engineering and/or Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering. * Three years of experience performing maintenance scheduling tasks in the mining sector. * General knowledge of maintenance and operation of mining equipment. * Familiarity with maintenance engineering techniques (RCM and RCA). * Proficiency in maintenance modules of SAP, JDE or other ERP systems. * Class B driver’s license. * Intermediate English proficiency.
