Kinross' La Coipa mine is located in the Atacama Region in northern Chile, approximately 1,000 kilometers north of Santiago and 140 kilometers northeast of Copiapó. La Coipa poured its first gold bar in March 2022 after resuming operations following the suspension in 2013. Kinross is conducting an exploration program to potentially extend the mine's life. The operation is supplied with 100% non-conventional renewable energy to meet its power needs. **Job Description** -------------------------- Ensure information processing requirements of OT systems are met by developing and managing databases to operate them efficiently and continuously according to Kinross and MDO procedures and policies. **Job Responsibilities** -------------------------------- * Keep software up to date, ensuring only licensed software is used. * Create tools that enable proper exploitation of applications and systems, as well as their security. * Maintain server parameters to achieve adequate performance. * Resolve operational issues shown by servers. * Investigate, analyze, and develop new applications, focusing on interactions between systems. * Investigate, propose, supervise, and control technological development projects. * Design and implement Server infrastructure development plans to host future OT applications. Ensure access to systems is granted only to authorized personnel by defining and controlling appropriate access profiles and assigning them to relevant individuals for the required duration. * Monitor system backup and recovery systems. **Education and Experience** --------------------------- **Requirements:** * Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Systems Analyst. * 3 years of experience in OT Systems such as Pi System, LIMS, AMPLA. **Other Knowledge:** * Knowledge of data center strategies, including current status and market trends. * General knowledge of data center management and methodologies. * General knowledge of information systems and methodologies. * Mastery of IT processes. * Programming-level computational skills. * Database knowledge. * Knowledge of software development methodology. * Knowledge and use of ERP. **Languages** English – Intermediate 2 **Shift** Work will be performed on a four days on, three days off shift schedule at La Coipa mine site. **INDEFINITE CONTRACT** **We invite you to become part of a unique team with great challenges.
