Job Description Executes advisory services and controls for risk management in open-pit mining processes; analyzes and monitors compliance with corporate plans, programs, and standards related to occupational safety and health; and ensures effective implementation of the pillars of Visible Leadership in the Field, Fatal Risk Management, and Organizational Learning, aiming to strengthen a preventive culture and continuously improve safety performance. Key Responsibilities | Activities Analyzes, monitors, and controls on-site implementation of the Safety and Occupational Health Management System (S&SO), as well as plans and programs within its area of responsibility. Identifies and diagnoses risk controls, unsafe conditions, and unsafe acts, managing corresponding corrective actions. Coordinates and advises personnel serving as Risk Prevention Advisors (RPAs) for contractor companies (EECCs) and line management on legal compliance matters. Conducts and participates in internal audits of operational risk management. Analyzes and investigates incidents on-site, identifies root causes, and defines effective corrective actions. Identifies and proposes opportunities for continuous improvement in the Company’s occupational safety and health standards. Prepares and delivers safety and health performance reports to the Operational Risk Management Superintendent. Ensures compliance with annually defined safety KPIs for its area of responsibility. Education, Experience, and Other Requirements Degree in Risk Prevention Engineering or Mining Civil Engineering 5 years of experience in the mining industry Willingness to work a 7x7 (day shift) schedule at site Fixed-term contract (6 months) **Knowledge Requirements:** Intermediate-level Microsoft Office proficiency. Class B driver’s license with verifiable high-altitude driving experience. Preferably Sernageomin Expert A, or alternatively Expert B National and international regulations related to occupational safety and health.
