Job Summary: Ecolab is seeking an Application Engineer to provide technical assistance to customers, resolve problems, conduct system analysis, and develop relationships with stakeholders. We are looking for candidates for the **Application Engineer** position in the **Copiapó** area—apply with us! **Responsibilities** * Provide technical assistance to customers by identifying and resolving issues as needed * Support services include: sample analysis, maintenance, customer service, generation of service reports, chemical ordering, and chemical inventory management. * Participate in problem resolution by conducting system analysis, interpreting data, and providing written recommendations to ensure customers’ operations perform at optimal levels * Provide routine support to Sales Representatives on strategic accounts within the district to execute customer system assurance plans and continuous improvement initiatives. * Support Sales Representatives with prospective customers. * Develop strong relationships with stakeholders on strategic accounts within the district where service support is provided to other district Sales Representatives **Requirements** * Degree in Metallurgical Civil Engineering, Chemical Civil Engineering, or related field (mandatory) * 0\-2 years of experience in field technical support and mining operations. * Valid Class B driver’s license, minimum two years old (mandatory) * Availability to work under Article 22 of the Labor Code * Residency in Copiapó (mandatory) **Desirable Requirements:** * Experience in industrial process water treatment, cooling circuits. * Ability to engage effectively with large national and multinational customers * Strong mechanical aptitude * Experience working with MS Excel **Benefits:** * Vacation bonus, Christmas and National Holidays bonuses, Birthday day off, Administrative days, School assistance bonus, life insurance, agreements with various institutions (optical, dental, banking, compensation fund, among other benefits Ecolab provides). * Learning Platform: You will have free access to our learning platform to learn and participate in trainings and courses of various kinds that will help you develop professionally.
