SPCI Supervisor – Fire Protection Systems

At **CS Energy**, a company with over **47 years of experience** delivering solutions for critical infrastructure, HVAC, data centers, and industrial projects, we are seeking to hire an **SPCI Supervisor** for a major mining project in the Atacama Region.
**Main Responsibilities**

* Supervise execution of work on fire protection systems (SPCI).
* Lead multidisciplinary teams in the field.
* Plan and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance.
* Ensure compliance with NFPA standards and safety procedures.
* Interpret drawings and technical specifications.
* Manage technical records and prepare reports for audits by SERNAGEOMIN, SEC, and insurance companies.
* Coordinate with suppliers and contractors.
* Train personnel on technical procedures and occupational safety.
* Conduct internal audits and verify compliance with protocols.
**Requirements**

### **Education**
* Engineering or Higher Technical Degree in:
* Electronics
* Automation and Control
* Telecommunications
* Or related discipline.
### **Experience**
* Minimum **5 years of experience** in Fire Protection Systems.
* Proven experience in **mining operations**.
* Experience leading work teams.
### **Technical Knowledge**
Desirable experience and familiarity with the following standards:
* NFPA 10 – Portable Fire Extinguishers.
* NFPA 20 – Standard for the Installation of Stationary Pumps for Fire Protection.
* NFPA 25 – Inspection, Testing, and Maintenance of Water-Based Fire Protection Systems.
* NFPA 72 – National Fire Alarm and Signaling Code.
* NFPA 70 (NEC).
* NFPA 70E.
Additionally, knowledge of:
* Interpretation of electrical and fire protection system drawings.
* Maintenance planning and scheduling.
* Document management and technical reporting.
* International standards IEC, UL, and CE.
**Mandatory Requirements**

✅ **Residence in Copiapó.**
✅ Availability to work on a **7x7 shift schedule**.
✅ Immediate availability.
✅ Valid **Class B driver’s license**.
✅ Medical fitness compatible with mining site work.
✅ Pass **pre-employment medical examinations** and the site accreditation process.
