Finning, a strategic partner of CATERPILLAR and leader in equipment distribution and services, is seeking top talent to fulfill the role of **C Technician**. **Job Description Summary:** You will be responsible for diagnosing major components and systems, performing large-scale repairs, coordinating work execution, and working either in the workshop or in the field as required, while also assisting supervisors and making mid-level responsibility decisions. **Main Job Responsibilities:** * Order spare parts. * Analyze written materials such as service manuals, parts catalogs, and mechanical and maintenance forms for equipment maintenance/repair. * Evaluate, calibrate, and adjust key engine and electrical system components. * Prepare Service Reports. * Conduct tests and diagnostics for AT1 and AT2 machine issues (visual, technical, and operational inspections). * Remove and install any type of component. * Operate and inspect machines after repair. * Make critical adjustments to the machine and its systems. * Install new additional components and accessories. * Carry out activities in accordance with quality management instructions and actively participate in specific actions relevant to your area to comply with the Risk Prevention and Sustainable Management Policy. **Requirements:** * Graduate technician from an Institute or University, specializing in automotive mechanics, electronics, or electricity. * Minimum 4\-5 years of experience in maintenance of mining industry equipment. * Successful prior performance of at least B Mechanic duties. * Work under a 5x2 shift system at the Copiapó branch. * Possess health compatible with performing duties at high geographical altitude.
