IPL’s 4,500 employees also manufacture and market industrial chemical and fertilizer products and services to customers globally. **Key Responsibilities** Provide end-to-end management of an assigned account (customer), delivering technical advisory and training services to establish high-level, long-term technical relationships with the customer. * Must be trained on any technology (software, instruments, measurement equipment, or other) deemed appropriate by Dyno Nobel for performing responsibilities and/or complementing technical training, thereby contributing to the successful implementation of Dyno Nobel’s products and services in Chile. * Study case studies related to Dyno Nobel’s products and services to enhance training and understanding. Maintain up-to-date conceptual technical knowledge and awareness of Dyno Nobel’s technologies/services. * Conduct fragmentation measurements (capturing photographs and software analysis) at extraction faces, stockpiles, dumps, and any location where Dyno Nobel and/or the customer deems it necessary to evaluate granulometric distribution—never losing focus on safety and self-care. * Prepare fragmentation reports per instructions and guidance from the direct supervisor. * Record blasts and/or other events indicated by the direct supervisor using standard and high-speed video cameras. * Measure cycle times for personnel and equipment—including blasting, drilling, loading, and hauling—as required to meet KPI measurement objectives. * Perform necessary field instrumentation for measuring: detonation velocity, near-field and far-field vibration, dynamic pressures, and any other instrumentation required to successfully complete selected KPI measurements during a test period. * Conduct field measurements of technical characteristics of Dyno Nobel’s products. * Possess basic familiarity with Dynologix tools and the operating system of Dynobulks equipment. * Understand the Differential Energy (DE) system (preload design, data transfer to Dynologix, and information feedback for final loading report generation). * Hold a certified RPA operator license and conduct drone flights in compliance with current legal requirements. * Capture photographs associated with assignments (fragmentation, general mine phase photos, and/or aerial photos) to support technical report preparation and/or KPI evaluation. * Prepare technical reports per guidance from the direct technical supervisor. If reports are requested by the customer, Dyno Nobel’s direct technical supervisor must always review them prior to submission. * Respond professionally and promptly to address engineering problems and requests related to the candidate’s engineering specialty. * Communicate effectively with Dyno Nobel’s multidisciplinary team. * Maintain technical instrumentation; keep equipment maintenance records current; and report any incidents and/or equipment damage. * Manage inventory of accessories (cables, sensors, etc.) under responsibility—essential for operational continuity—and submit timely procurement requests to prevent stockouts. * Design initiation sequences in ViewShot or similar software per technical supervisor’s instructions and/or customer requirements. * Design explosive charges in Preload or similar software per customer requirements and/or technical supervisor’s directives. * Serve as a key person in measuring and controlling KPIs established in DE testing processes and/or service contracts. * Generate periodic KPI blast performance reports—frequency to be confirmed. **Position Profile:** **Education:** * Mining Engineer, Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent. * In-depth knowledge of mining operations. * Strong knowledge of company products and services. **Experience:** Minimum two years of professional experience in this role. **Skills:** * High analytical capability for data interpretation. * Aptitude for handling equipment and technology. * Proficiency in design software. **Other Requirements:** * Intermediate technical English (spoken and written). * Proficient Office user. * Certified explosives calculator license. * Explosives handler license. * Class B driver’s license. **Working Conditions:** * 7x7 shift schedule. **Benefits:** * Complementary Health Insurance. * Patriotic Holidays and Christmas bonuses. * Vacation bonus. * Benefits Program. **Our Values** Zero Harm to Everyone, Everywhere.
