Job Summary: We are seeking a mechanical maintenance technician for the forestry sector, responsible for equipment maintenance, fault diagnosis, and corrective actions, ensuring quality and compliance with standards. Supervise the quality of contractors' work on-site At Eurofirms, we are currently looking for a mechanical maintenance technician to work at one of our key clients’ facilities in the forestry sector in this region. Responsibilities: Perform maintenance and fault diagnosis of area equipment according to maintenance guidelines and technical specifications. Carry out scheduled maintenance tasks. Inspect production lines. Diagnose faults and address program interruptions. Correct faults occurring during shifts and follow up accordingly. Supervise on-site the quality of work performed by contractors. Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards. Maintain the area in optimal condition, ensuring production continuity and line availability. Track equipment, spare parts, and requests. Requirements: Education: Technical degree in industrial fields, industrial mechanics, electromechanics, or related disciplines. Minimum 2 years of experience in assembly industry or sawmill (ideal). Knowledge of: Equipment used in the wood industry; equipment alignment; hydraulic maintenance; mechanical adjustments; fluid sealing; lubrication.
