Job Summary: We are seeking an Electronic Technician with experience in industrial control systems to diagnose, maintain, and repair DCS systems in forestry plants. Key Responsibilities: 1. Maintenance and diagnostics of distributed control systems (DCS) 2. Support in configuration and commissioning of equipment associated with the DCS 3. Coordination with operations, mechanical, and electrical departments At Eurofirms, we are currently recruiting an electronic technician to work at the facilities of one of our key clients in the forestry sector. Responsibilities: Maintain, diagnose, and repair distributed control systems (DCS) in industrial plants within the forestry sector. Monitor proper operation of process automation systems. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on instruments, control modules, electronic cards, and industrial communication networks. Diagnose faults in analog and digital signals within the control system. Support configuration, calibration, and commissioning of equipment and instruments associated with the DCS. Interpret electrical schematics, control diagrams, and automation logic. Coordinate activities with operations, mechanical maintenance, and electrical departments. Record interventions, faults, and improvements in control systems. Requirements: Education: Higher-level technical degree in electronics, automation, instrumentation, or related field. Minimum 2–5 years of experience in industrial control systems (DCS preferred). Knowledge of DCS systems. Proficiency in industrial instrumentation (sensors, transmitters, control valves). Knowledge of industrial networks. Ability to interpret schematics. Experience in industrial plants, preferably in forestry, pulp & paper, or energy sectors. Offer: Market-competitive remuneration.
