If you are seeking to join an established company focused on environmental management, regulatory compliance, and job stability, this opportunity may be right for you. ### **Job Description** We are looking for a RILES Plant Operator responsible for executing daily operations, control, monitoring, and basic maintenance of the liquid industrial waste treatment plant, ensuring compliance with parameters required by regulation DS 609, as well as internal standards for quality, safety, health, and environment. The primary objective is to guarantee proper operation of the treatment system by controlling critical process variables and ensuring operational continuity and environmental compliance. ### **Key Responsibilities** * Operate RILES plant equipment: pumps, blowers, valves, control panels, aeration systems, sedimentation tanks, filters, chemical dosing units, and sludge dewatering systems. * Monitor and record critical process parameters such as pH, BOD, COD, suspended solids, oils and grease, conductivity, and flow rate, among others. * Perform sampling and conduct basic physicochemical analyses for process control. * Maintain up-to-date logbooks, record sheets, and daily operation reports. * Carry out operational adjustments: chemical dosing, sludge purging, equipment cleaning, and operational maneuvers. * Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities for the plant. * Ensure proper handling, storage, and safe use of chemicals. * Strictly comply with current safety, environmental, and sanitary regulations. * Promptly report deviations, operational anomalies, or risks identified during operations. ### **Requirements** * Technical qualification (mid- or higher-level) in Chemistry, Environmental Science, Industrial Processes, Electromechanics, or related field. * Prior experience operating RILES plants or wastewater treatment plants (preferred). * Basic knowledge of physicochemical and biological water treatment processes. * Knowledge of and familiarity with environmental regulation DS 609. * Basic proficiency in operational recordkeeping and parameter monitoring. * Availability to work rotating shifts. * 07:00–14:30 * 14:30–22:00 * Responsibility, organization, commitment to safety and the environment, and ability to work effectively in a team. ### **We Offer** * Job stability within a company committed to environmental compliance. * Training in treatment processes and current regulations. * A positive work environment and opportunities for professional development. * Corporate benefits according to company policy. ### **Benefits** Upon obtaining an indefinite-term contract: \- Year-end bonus \- Supplementary health insurance \- Vacation bonus \- Other corporate benefits
