We consider inclusion and diversity as fundamental aspects to meet present and future challenges******.*** ARAUCO is seeking professionals with a **Higher-Level Degree in Mechanical Technology or related fields**, with at least **3 years of experience** in **workshops or field operations involving hydraulic machinery**, to work as a **Senior Mechanical Maintainer** in the town of **Constitución** within the **FOREST BUSINESS** **What will you be responsible for?** Apply maintenance guidelines to forestry equipment, as well as perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities according to weekly planning, ensuring operational continuity of forestry operations, while complying with corporate MASSO regulations related to safety and the environment. **What do we expect from you?** * Perform inspection, diagnosis, and repair of failures in forestry equipment. * Execute preventive maintenance procedures on forestry equipment. * Promote and participate in improving maintenance processes and procedures. * Organize, clean, and implement 5S practices in workshop trucks and maintenance vans. * Carry out mechanical inspection routines for all equipment, welding tasks, and minor machining work in the field. * Perform measurement, inspection, maintenance, and repair tasks on wheel/track systems. * Conduct inspection, diagnosis, and repair of minor faults in forestry equipment. * Perform greasing, replacement of hoses, cleaning, blowing, and washing of all Cima operation equipment. * Assemble and sharpen cutting chains for all felling and processing equipment. * Support inspection and cutting of steel cables, assistance equipment, logging towers, and carts. * Identify and assess hazards and/or risks associated with each activity together with your work team. **What do you need to apply?** * Higher-level Mechanical Technician degree (or related). * At least 3 years of experience in workshops or field operations with Hydraulic Machinery. * 4x4 vehicle driving certificate. * Class B driver's license valid for at least two more years. * Availability to work 5x2 shifts in the Constitución area. ***At ARAUCO, we work every day to develop renewable forest products that improve people's lives—a task that challenges us to have committed, enthusiastic, and creative teams.
