We consider inclusion and diversity fundamental to meeting present and future challenges******.*** ARAUCO is seeking a **Chainsaw Operator Brigade Member** for Constitución, who will continuously support forestry tasks, fire prevention, and firefighting and wildfire suppression operations. We aim to build effective ground brigades capable of responding efficiently and promptly to forest emergencies, with personal and team safety as the top priority. Therefore, we are looking for a highly motivated individual, oriented toward continuous learning, and able to take an active role in performing their duties. The **main objective of the position** is to construct control lines in various firefighting scenarios using assigned brigade resources (water, suppressants, manual or mechanical tools, and combinations thereof) to carry out containment and fire extinguishing activities. Additionally, the role includes performing forestry-related tasks. The **main responsibilities** are: * Conduct direct, parallel, or indirect attacks to establish and maintain control lines according to instructions from the Brigade Coordinator, working safely and efficiently. Use water equipment during firefighting and suppression activities. * Comply with and ensure compliance of internal regulations, legal requirements, environmental standards, and occupational risk prevention policies required by the Company across all facilities. * Report all incidents, damages, or hazardous conditions to the supervisor promptly. * Know and apply basic safety rules for Wildfire Control and Suppression, as well as care measures, by receiving and following instructions. * Perform winter forestry tasks during the winter season related to plantation establishment and management, among others. **Requirements:** * Completed secondary education. * At least one season of experience as a Brigade Operator (Chainsaw Operator). * Availability to work under a 10x5 shift schedule. * Availability to perform duties in Constitución.
