We consider inclusion and diversity fundamental aspects for meeting present and future challenges******.*** ARAUCO is seeking a **Helitack Firefighter** for **Constitución**, who will continuously support silvicultural tasks, fire prevention, as well as firefighting and wildfire suppression operations. We strive to form **ground crews** capable of efficiently and promptly responding to forest emergencies, with personal and team safety being the top priority. Therefore, we are looking for a highly motivated individual oriented toward continuous learning and able to actively fulfill their responsibilities. The **main objective of the position** is to construct control lines in various firefighting scenarios using assigned brigade resources (water, suppressants, manual or mechanical tools, and combinations thereof) to carry out containment and fire extinguishing activities. Additionally, performing silvicultural work. The **main responsibilities** are: * Carry out direct, parallel, or indirect attacks to establish and maintain the control line according to instructions from the Crew Coordinator, working safely and efficiently. Use water equipment in firefighting and suppression tasks. * Comply with, and ensure compliance with, internal policies, legal requirements, environmental regulations, and occupational risk prevention standards required by the Company across all facilities. * Promptly report all incidents, damages, or hazardous conditions to the supervisor. * Know and apply basic safety rules for Wildland Fire Control and Suppression, along with precautionary measures, by receiving and following instructions. * Perform silvicultural tasks during winter season related to plantation establishment and management, among others. **Requirements:** * Completed secondary education. * At least one season of experience as a firefighter. * Availability to work under a 10x5 shift schedule. * Availability to perform duties in Constitución.
