We consider inclusion and diversity fundamental to meeting present and future challenges.*** ARAUCO is seeking professionals with a **Higher-Level Technical Degree in Mechanics or related field**, and **at least 3 years of experience** working in **workshops or field operations on hydraulic machinery**, to serve as a **Senior Mechanical Maintenance Technician** in the town of **Constitución**, for the **FORESTRY BUSINESS**. **What will you do?** Apply maintenance guidelines to forestry equipment, and carry out preventive and corrective maintenance activities according to the weekly schedule, ensuring uninterrupted operational continuity of forestry operations, while safeguarding and complying with corporate MASSO regulations related to safety and the environment. **What do we expect from you?** * Inspect, diagnose, and repair failures in forestry equipment. * Execute preventive maintenance procedures on forestry equipment. * Promote and participate in improving maintenance processes and procedures. * Implement organization, cleaning, and 5S practices in workshop trucks and maintenance vans. * Conduct mechanical inspection procedures on all equipment, perform on-site welding and minor machining tasks. * Perform measurement, inspection, maintenance, and repair tasks on wheel-based / tracked systems. * Carry out inspection, diagnosis, and repair of minor failures in forestry equipment. * Perform greasing, replacement of hoses, cleaning, blow-torching, and washing of all Cima operation equipment. * Assemble and sharpen cutting chains on all skidding and processing equipment. * Support inspection and cutting of steel cables, auxiliary equipment, logging towers, and carts. * Identify and assess hazards and/or risks associated with each activity together with your work team. **What do you need to apply?** * Higher-Level Technical Degree in Mechanics (or related field) * At least 3 years of experience in workshops or field operations on hydraulic machinery. * 4x4 vehicle driving certificate * Class B driver’s license valid for at least two more years * Availability to work a 5x2 shift schedule in the Constitución area ***At ARAUCO, we work every day to develop renewable forest products that improve people’s lives—a mission that challenges us to build committed, enthusiastic, and creative teams.
