Job Description PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF THE POSITION Assist in performing maintenance activities for machinery, equipment, and facilities, following established criteria and procedures, with the aim of ensuring the safety and well-being of guests, in accordance with brand-specific requirements. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Carry out corrective and preventive maintenance activities using checklists for refrigeration units, air conditioning systems, telephones, collective antennas, TV tuning, radios, etc. * Execute the Preventive Maintenance Plan daily. * Replace light bulbs, ballasts, sockets, and other components. * Inspect parking areas and garages; carry out necessary repairs. * Complete all administrative tasks within the department, adhering to Self-Control processes. * Request and supervise technical visits and third-party maintenance, as required. * Organize documents, reports, and assessments related to outsourced maintenance. * Daily inspection of booster pumps to ensure continuous 24-hour supply of cold and hot water, as well as repair of related hydraulic components (sinks, faucets, etc.). * Keep the workplace and equipment clean and organized. * Perform cleaning and maintenance of paint in technical areas. * Organize documentation from subcontracted companies. * Follow management guidelines regarding selective waste collection, environmental impact, recycling of diesel fuel, light bulbs, and batteries, as well as water, energy, and cleaning product consumption—aiming to meet environmental objectives. * Achieve departmental goals: Actively contribute to achieving departmental objectives through efficient execution of assigned tasks, aligned with established strategic and operational guidelines. * Participate in mandatory and developmental training: Attend and complete all company-required training sessions to maintain and strengthen competencies essential for the role. * Collaborate with other departments to ensure operational continuity: Provide support to other departments when needed, ensuring smooth processes and uninterrupted organizational operations. * Perform other related duties as required by the department/hotel* Maintenance Assistant * Ibis Antofagasta Hotel * Rotating Shift 6x1–5x2 (Morning and Afternoon Shifts) * General maintenance experience (hotel industry) Requirements * Maintenance Assistant * Ibis Antofagasta Hotel * Rotating Shift 6x1–5x2 (Morning and Afternoon Shifts) * General maintenance experience (hotel industry) Additional Information We are much more than a global leader.
