We are seeking a qualified professional for the position of **Services Engineer DCS (Distributed Control Systems)** in Concepción, focused on providing support for our DNA Distributed Control System platform. **Main responsibilities of this role:** * The specialist must work permanently at the customer site to implement action plans. * Perform root cause analysis of process control and equipment-related issues. * Tuning of low-level control loops. * Train operators and gather feedback from plant personnel. * Implement and maintain Valmet DCS (DNA) solutions in industrial plants. * Provide technical support and consultancy to customers, ensuring optimal system performance. * Lead DCS system configuration, commissioning, and troubleshooting. * Collaborate with customer operational teams to identify improvement opportunities. * Utilize Industrial Internet (VII) tools to enhance efficiency. * Interact with Valmet support teams (local and global) for updates and modifications. * Prepare performance reports and lead periodic meetings with the customer. * Conduct hands-on training and updates for the Plant-Wide Optimization System. Required qualifications for performing the job: * Degree in Automation Engineering, Electronics, Chemical Engineering, or related fields. * Experience with automation systems in the pulp and paper industry. * Knowledge of programming and configuration of DCS systems (preferably Valmet DNA). * Willingness to travel domestically and internationally. * Intermediate English (spoken and written); Portuguese is desirable. * Residence in Concepción (highly desirable).
