At Fintoc, we are building the payment infrastructure for Latin America. Today, more than **6.5 million people** use our products every day, and we aim to reach **100 million** in the next 5 years. We will maintain a small team of fewer than 100 people to tackle big problems: how to make moving money across the region as simple as sending a message. We work in person at our offices in Santiago, Chile, or Mexico City. ### **As a Product Ops Engineer** * You recently graduated with a degree in Computer Engineering or Industrial Civil Engineering, or you have up to 1 year of experience in product or operations roles at a technology company. * You will work with the Ops team, where you’ll be responsible for ensuring everything runs like clockwork across various interdisciplinary teams. * You will develop processes and tools that enable the operation of the products Fintoc offers. * You will propose metrics and analyze data to support sound operational decision-making. * You will support customers and users experiencing issues while using Fintoc. * You will write design documents for your solutions and, when necessary, collaborate with the development team to implement them. * You will automate manual tasks using AI with tools such as Cursor, Retool, and Google Cloud Functions. ### **What We Expect** * You recently graduated with a degree in Computer Engineering or Industrial Civil Engineering, or you have up to 1 year of experience in product or operations roles at a technology company. * Eagerness to learn about Product and Operations. You will be the right-hand person to our Ops Lead. * Curiosity and a self-learning mindset—if you don’t know something, you figure it out. * Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt quickly. * You solve problems by consulting data and uncovering insights using SQL, make your work easier with Python scripts, know how to call an API, have written technical documentation, or automated workflows using Zapier or similar tools. **Selection Process** ------------------------ * Conversation with Jope from the People team to get to know you. * Technical phase or practical challenge: if you pass, you’ll meet with the Head of Ops for an interview focused on technical development. * Interview with one of the founders to ensure mutual alignment. * Finally, a coffee chat with the team.
