Job Mission** Ensure the **operational readiness, availability, and proper functioning** of vehicles, machinery, and equipment at Empresas Elena through efficient management of **preventive and corrective maintenance** and **timely, effective logistics** for transportation, documentation, and field support. All activities must be coordinated directly with the **Control Department**, ensuring traceability, resource optimization, and operational continuity. **2\. Main Responsibilities** **Maintenance Area** * Supervise the workshop and personnel responsible for vehicle, machinery, and equipment maintenance. * Define and implement safety protocols and work procedures. * Set clear objectives (daily, weekly, or monthly). * Maintain the **maintenance log** and ensure achievement of established goals. * Manage **quotations, spare parts procurement, and external services**, updating the supplier database. * Monitor **personnel availability** between workshop and field assignments, recording working hours and leave. * Coordinate in advance the delivery of machinery ready for field operations. * Implement and supervise standardized forms for **vehicle, machinery, and equipment requests per project, company, or department**. **Logistics Area** * Plan and coordinate the **transportation and dispatch of equipment and machinery** to field sites. * Ensure legal documentation (permits, insurance, technical inspections) for equipment and vehicles remains valid. * Organize logistics for drivers and operators: routes, allowances, tolls, meals, and accommodations. * Supervise the **GPS tracking system** and its correct usage. * Resolve field contingencies (breakdowns, towing, insurance claims, equipment replacements). * Maintain **logs of equipment movement and utilization**. * Generate daily/weekly reports on logistics and movements. **Coordination with Control Department** * Provide updated information on machinery availability, fuel consumption, maintenance costs, and equipment operating hours. * Submit periodic reports for closing periods and performance indicators. * Adjust maintenance and logistics processes according to guidelines set by the Control Department. **3\. Responsibilities and Authority** * Responsible for the **overall operation** of maintenance and logistics. * Responsible for the **safety of personnel under supervision** in the workshop. * Authorized to **approve spare parts and service requests** within allocated budgets. * Authorized to **organize and assign maintenance and logistics personnel** based on operational needs. * Must ensure compliance with applicable labor, safety, and traffic regulations. **4\. Position Profile** * **Education:** Bachelor's degree in Automotive Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Logistics **(mandatory)** * **Experience:** 3 to 5 years in workshop management, heavy machinery logistics, transportation, or fleet management. * **Knowledge:** * Preventive and corrective maintenance management. * Supplier management and technical procurement. * Transportation logistics control and legal regulations for equipment. * Office software, reporting, and document management tools. * **Personal competencies:** * Leadership and team management. * Planning and organization. * Problem solving and decision making. * Working under pressure and results orientation. **6\.
