We are looking for a Forklift Operator for a port terminal in Coronel, with a **port card**, as a vacation replacement. **Job Objective.** To correctly, safely and efficiently carry out loading and unloading operations within various terminal tasks according to work schedules, current regulations, and the Company's safety policies, in order to achieve the established objectives for each operation. **We Offer:** Competitive salary. Rotating Shifts: \- 1st Shift: 08:00 to 15:30 Hrs \- 2nd Shift: 15:30 to 23:00 Hrs \- 3rd Shift: 23:00 to 06:30 Hrs **Requirements.** * Completed Secondary Education or Industrial Medium-Level Technician (desirable). * Knowledge in Forklift Operation. * Knowledge of maritime-port operations (desirable). * Knowledge of operations under adverse weather conditions (desirable). * Knowledge of mechanics applied to Forklifts (desirable). * Knowledge of types of cargo.· Forklift Operator Course. * PORT CARD (MANDATORY) * Class D Driver's License. * Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Forklift Operator. **Responsibilities.** * Carefully and efficiently transport and position cargo. * Promptly report any detected faults, malfunctions, and/or maintenance needs of the forklift to the maintenance department as required. * Comply with established safety rules and protocols for forklift operations. * Receive shift supervisor instructions regarding the work schedule and equipment assignment for each task. * Check the proper functioning of the forklift before starting the workday. * Maintain constant communication with the supervisor. * Maintain constant communication with the coordinator when stacking cargo for proper positioning. * Unload, transport, stack, and consolidate cargo according to established procedures. * Report any incidents occurring during operations to prevent potential accidents.
