Join our team at Globant! **Job Description** -------------------------- We are looking for a Level 4 Cloud Subject Matter Expert (SME) with 7 years of hands-on experience in DevOps and production cloud environments. Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is preferred; however, experience with other cloud platforms will be considered if accompanied by GCP knowledge. If you’re passionate about innovation and want to work on projects that push the boundaries of technology, we want you on our team! ### **Key Responsibilities** * Design and implement robust, efficient, and secure cloud architectures in production environments. * Ensure continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) to maintain system quality and reliability. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues in cloud environments. * Implement advanced cloud monitoring and cost management strategies. * Train and guide other team members in adopting cloud computing best practices. ### **Mandatory Requirements** * More than 7 years of hands-on DevOps experience and production cloud environments (preferably on GCP, or on another cloud platform with GCP experience) * Solid experience building pipelines (incorporating multiple processes) and using CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline, GitLab, among others * Solid experience using containers in complex applications (GKE, Kubernetes) * Participation in data center-to-cloud, cloud-to-cloud, or technology migration projects * Participation in the design, implementation, and improvement of solutions across lower environments (Development, QA, UAT, Test) and production * Leadership experience managing more than 8 people, mentoring and leading them (including both horizontal and vertical leadership structures). Acts as a reference point for cloud-related best practices and clarity on associated technical concepts.
