CONTROL AND PROTECTION TECHNICIAN **Offer ID:** 78472 **Job:** Technicians / Other **Contract type:** Permanent **Schedule:** Full\-Time **Country:** Chile **EQUANS Chile (EQCL),** is currently seeking a **CONTROL AND PROTECTION TECHNICIAN** whose main responsibility will be to carry out electrical construction and wiring tasks for one or more projects as directed by the Control and Protection Supervisor. **We invite applications from individuals who meet the following requirements for this position:** **Profession / Education:** * Technical degree in electricity, electromechanics, or related field. **Knowledge:** * Knowledge of Electrical Networks. * Ability to read wiring diagrams. * Knowledge of power electrical substations. * Understanding of concepts related to remote control cable laying and stripping. * Knowledge of remote control cabinet wiring. * Knowledge of internal control cabinet wiring. * Knowledge of potential transformer wiring. * Knowledge of current transformer wiring. * Proper use of measuring instruments (Megger, Multimeter, phase sequence tester, etc.) * Knowledge of working on live control cabinets. * Knowledge of communication cable laying and wiring. * Knowledge of making communication terminals (RJ45\-BNC) **Experience:** * Minimum 2 years of experience in electrical and/or electromechanical construction projects.
