Job Summary: This role seeks a Nursing Assistant to provide comprehensive health care, promoting care and self-care among participants according to program standards. Key Highlights: 1. Team integration committed to addressing social exclusion Fundación Hogar de Cristo, under Law No. 21\.015 promoting the labor inclusion of persons with disabilities, seeks to fill the position of **Nursing Assistant** to work in Castro. **Objective**: To deliver comprehensive care to participants, with emphasis on health care, ensuring the establishment of a supportive relationship based on developing a meaningful bond in accordance with the standards and protocols established in the Program’s Technical Model. Carry out assigned tasks, promoting healthy lifestyles among program participants. Facilitate and support participants’ health treatments, promoting care, self-care, and health education. Support the administration of medications for participants who require it, according to the protocol defined in the Technical Model. **Responsibilities**: * Ensure timely and efficient care for Program participants, in accordance with policies and guidelines of the Technical Model, current legislation, and applicable regulations. * Motivate, persuade, and disseminate, at both individual (e.g., interviews, conversation spaces) and group levels (e.g., workshops, assemblies), favorable practices related to care, self-care, and health risk prevention among participants. Inform participants about behaviors that jeopardize health. * Facilitate and support adherence to treatment plans and/or pharmacological regimens, according to program protocols and individual needs. * Support and facilitate discharges, referrals, transfers, and/or assistance during health consultations—both within the facility and through public health networks—to ensure continuity of required treatments for users. * Process interconsultation orders and/or examinations to support participants requiring them. * Record any health-related incidents occurring during one’s shift (e.g., screening, detection, referral, or other) in the incident logbook. * Maintain required health records up to date. * Perform duties and tasks assigned to the Hospitality Monitor, based on guidelines and coordination with supervisors, to ensure appropriate care for participants and achievement of program objectives. * Work shifts—including night and weekend shifts—as required by program needs and scheduling. * Efficiently manage material and informational resources provided, to achieve goals set by Management and strategic plans of Fundación de Beneficiencia Hogar de Cristo and its subsidiaries. * Comply with Hogar de Cristo’s ethical and compliance frameworks, and act in accordance with the current Crime Prevention Model developed under Law No. 20\.393, safeguarding institutional responsibility. **Requirements**: * Academic qualification: Nursing Technician or Paramedical Assistant (higher education level). * Experience working with people living in extreme poverty and vulnerability, preferably: older adults, persons with disabilities, and/or people experiencing homelessness. * Minimum one year of professional experience in this role. **Schedule**: Saturday and Sunday, 08:00–14:00 hrs (11 hours per week) **Location**: Castro **Contract Type**: Fixed-term contract with potential conversion to indefinite term. **Modality**: In-person We invite you to join Fundación Hogar de Cristo—the largest charitable foundation in Chile, widely recognized for its work reducing social exclusion in our country and ranked among the best organizations to work for in Chile according to the international Great Place to Work® 2025 survey.
