Additionally, ensure compliance with—and enforce—the Division’s and Corporation’s established policies, regulations, and procedures related to safety, occupational health, quality, environment, and NCh 3262 standard on gender equality, work-life balance, family, and personal life; as well as those related to safety, occupational health, environment, and diversity and inclusion. **Because here your talents will serve Chile!** **Job Responsibilities** * Supervise and direct safety, sustainability, and occupational health conditions, verifying application of applicable regulations and standards. * Lead your work team and maintain effective communication with all shift operators. * Report and investigate accidents or incidents. * Assign human resources, equipment, and materials to meet short-term production plans without compromising medium-term objectives. * Plan shift activities and identify opportunities to implement actions that enhance productivity. * Manage human resource processes under your responsibility, ensuring compliance with labor laws, internal regulations, collective bargaining agreements, and agreements, per Divisional directives and Corporate guidelines. * Disseminate area procedures, instructions, and plans. * Disseminate policies and all relevant information regarding programs, compliance, challenges, and updates within the area, aligned with Divisional and Corporate guidelines. * Promote teamwork and coordinate with all departments within the management unit to achieve optimal performance across the entire value chain. * Participate in continuous improvement initiatives (C\+). **Application Requirements** * Hold at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Mining Engineering and/or a field closely related to the job functions and purpose. * Minimum of 4 years’ experience in open-pit mining operations. * Minimum of 2 years’ experience leading work teams. * Valid Class B driver’s license. * Physical and mental fitness compatible with the position. **Desirable Qualifications** * Prior experience working in mining operations in mountainous and/or high-altitude zones. * Completion of training courses in first aid and/or fire extinguisher use and/or emergency response. * Basic-level proficiency in Power BI. * Advanced-level proficiency in MS Office. **Offered Conditions:** * Contract type: Indefinite-term. * Contractual position: Shift Supervisor. * Work location: El Teniente Division – Rajo Mine (no camp accommodation). * Work shift: 4x4\. * Number of vacancies: 01\. **Application Deadline: Tuesday, March 31, 2026** Application closing time: 23:59 hrs. “I hereby declare that I am fully aware of the conditions—per Codelco regulations—that may constitute incompatibility for holding the position to which I am applying and, consequently, affect my continued participation in the selection process.
