We consider inclusion and diversity fundamental to meeting present and future challenges******.*** Apply now and become part of the **Forest Road Construction Project**, for which we are seeking graduates of **Secondary Education or Medium-Level Technical Programs with chainsaw operator experience**, to participate in and perform functions related to civil works operations as an **Art Works Assistant**, in the Chillán area. **Position Objective:** Execute the construction of art works and maintenance of forest roads, including sanitation works such as culverts—across all stages—in accordance with technical standards defined by the unit. This includes verifying the work plan onsite and making necessary adjustments, ensuring compliance with established operational, safety, and environmental procedures. **Specific Responsibilities:** * Felling and bucking trees according to project requirements * Cutting pipes using a chainsaw * Supporting tasks (e.g., moving signage, road cuts, among others) at sanitation fronts and art works sites, as well as road maintenance and construction * Assisting in unloading pipes * Performing activities related to culvert construction, in accordance with established work procedures, as well as operational, safety, and environmental regulations * Collecting raw materials on-site, such as wooden logs, for construction purposes * Performing maintenance activities including clearing, brushing, cleaning culverts, replacing art works (e.g., geogrids), and installing signage and log barriers * Driving vans and trucks—with or without trailer transport—as required and subject to valid driver’s license availability * Performing routine maintenance of personal tools **Requirements to Apply:** * Completed secondary education or medium-level technical degree (mandatory) * Minimum 1 year of chainsaw operation experience (in forestry operations and/or brigades) (mandatory) * Valid Class B driver’s license (mandatory); Class A4 preferred * Residence in the Ñuble Region **Join the CAMINOS ARAUCO Team!** ***At ARAUCO, we work daily to develop renewable forest products that improve people’s lives—a mission that challenges us to build committed, enthusiastic, and creative teams.
